NEON GARDEN BAG

Puka, or Pulas Katumbiri, is a social enterprise in the field of crafting that creates educational tools for children with special needs. In collaboration with Tab Space, we created a bucket sling bag featuring a print design illustrated by Claudia Panca Fadila.

Claudia is known for drawing cats, but for this project, she was challenged to illustrate something other than cats. Along with her art facilitator, Nurul, Claudia created illustrations of various flowers in vibrant, bold colors.

These flower illustrations were then gathered and arranged into a layout, which was eventually printed onto fabric as the primary material for the sling bag.

Meanwhile, Puka prepared the straps for the bag, designed specifically using macramé cords. These cords were embroidered by students from special education schools (SLB) under Puka’s guidance.
